Graduating with a Bachelors in Photography and Motion Picture Sciences from the Brooks Institute of Photography, Meghan Spiro is a commercial photographer and videographer specializing in food photography & styling, high-end product photography, beverage & distillery photography, restaurant photography, editorial, portraits, chef’s dinners, and artisanal crafts & artist portraits. She began her career in the food industry working as a Coordinator & Producer for the Food Network, working in both in-the-kitchen shows and on-location with a master sommelier across the county. After leaving Food Network, Meghan freelanced in video production and worked as a prop buyer and stylist under renowned fashion photographer Greg Lotus, before refocusing on the food industry. She’s steeped in capturing the bounty and beauty of the Hudson Valley, but continues to works with clients in NYC and beyond. She’s captured over 15 magazine covers for Hudson Valley Magazine, Valley Table Magazine, and Westchester Magazine, as well as captured numerous spreads and feature stories. Her regular clients include Milea Winery, Dufour Gourmet, and Chris Collins Fragrance. She has a 1000sq ft photo studio with a full kitchen located in the beautiful mountain town of Beacon, New York, where she curates multidisciplinary artists in events and culinary classes.
